CASE STUDY

Scope Provide architectural services for the creation of schematic presentation plans Project Name “Helicopter Hanger Facility for Mercy Air”, San Bernardino International Airport, San Bernardino, CA Project Facts One ARC project architect and CAD drafter were assigned to this project. This project was completed over the course of eleven days taking 25 hours. ARC saved the Client valuable time by being able to take the Client’s design concept and turn it into a final presentation without requiring the Client to spend hours generating detailed redline mark-ups. Preliminary Sketches by Client Client provided these concept sketches along with some other basic program requirements and verbal direction. Design Intent Sketch by ARC Based on the information provided by the Client, one of ARC’s licensed architects performed a preliminary code study and prepared this sketch for review by the Client. Comments from Client Upon receiving the Client’s feedback of the design intent sketch, ARC produced this CAD background and returned it for further review by the Client. Client’s comments (shown above) were incorporated into the final product. Final Schematic Presentation Plan Once the program requirements were met and approved by the Client, ARC prepared the plan for final presentation by setting up a sheet, adding graphics and colorizing the plan.
